For this year's annual event on March 18, 2010, the Design Trust Council convened at fashion designer
YEOHLEE's studio in the Garment District for a behind-the-scenes glimpse of fashion innovation.
The evening began with a cocktail reception and private tour of YEOHLEE's studio - including a special preview of her Fall 2010 collection - and culminated in an open discussion.
For this conversation, Yeohlee Teng was joined by special guests
Vogue contributing editor and landscape designer
Miranda Brooks, local real estate developer
Eric Gural of Newmark Knight Frank, architect and urban designer
Ken Greenberg, and the Dean of Fashion at Parson,
Simon Collins. Together they shared their individual perspectives about the fashion industry ecosystem and how New York City nurtures and catalyzes creativity.
