Andrew Lavallee, ASLA, RLA, CSI is a Senior Associate and Director of Technical Services at EDAW in New York City.  Over the past 20 years, he has overseen the planning, design and construction of a broad range of public, private and institutional landscapes throughout the United States and abroad, exceeding $195 million in value. Mr. Lavallee has also served as a construction manager and owner’s representative on several large public park projects in New York City, giving him a unique understanding of the challenges involved in building successful public landscapes.

 


Mr. Lavallee earned his Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a B.A. with Honors in Art History from Trinity College in Hartford, CT.  He is a member of the Construction Specification Institute and is a registered landscape architect in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.   He is a frequent speaker at landscape conferences and has authored more than thirty articles on a variety of technical subjects ranging from sports facility design to the development of economically sustainable parks.
