Adam
Millard-Ball is a transportation planner and environmental
policy researcher, specializing in initiatives
to reduce dependence on the private auto.
Previously, while a principal at Nelson\Nygaard,
his consulting focused on taxi regulation,
parking policy, and car-sharing. His
research studies have been published by
US EPA and the Transportation Research
Board. His international experience includes
a stint as a transportation policy journalist
in London, and parking and Bus Rapid Transit
planning in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Mr. Millard-Ball is now a doctoral student
at Stanford University’s Interdisciplinary Program in Environment
and Resources, where he is examining the effectiveness
of local climate change plans in reducing greenhouse
gas emissions. He received a Design Trust fellowship
