Anisha Sawhney is an architect with an interest in urban design
and pedestrian planning. She has worked on a number of design and
masterplanning projects addressing pedestrian and transport issues
in the UK. She also has experience in urban regeneration projects
in India.
Previously employed with Buro Happold Engineers
and Space Syntax Ltd. in the UK, Ms. Sawhney
moved to New York in 2005. She completed
her architecture degree from TVB School of
Habitat Studies, India, with a Gold Medal for
her thesis. She also holds a Masters in Advanced
Architectural Studies with Distinction from
The Bartlett School, University College London,
